Making beans in the instant pot is not only easy but they cook so well and evenly that I really only use the stove top aspect when I am making a soup that involves beans. I will always cook the beans in the instant pot but use the stove top cooking my other goodies that will be part of the soup.

I use every kind bean available from Rancho Gordo and here is my basic instant pot bean recipe.

1 package Rancho Gordo beans ( time varies a little depending on the bean this recipe is highlighting the midnight black bean) 1 jar of Rock it Salsa 6 cups water set instant pot at 38 minutes and go.
